For the newly-wed couple in search of that special something as they begin their life together, Pemba the honeymoon island could just be the place to go.

Part of three exotic islands off the coast of Tanzania, this must be one of Africa’s best beach safari experiences.

Why a honeymoon there?

With the beautiful sandy beaches, the palm trees and surrounded by blue Indian Ocean waters, Pemba the honeymoon island is remote, uncrowded and unspoiled.

Exclusive accommodation is offered with special honeymoon packages at the famous Funduu Lagoon and the Manta Reef lodge.

Rooms constructed with local materials like makuti (thatch from palm trees) are fully equipped for your comfort. Their dining facilities serve good food.

Activities on offer:

– private dinner on the beach

– sunset dhow cruises

– picnics by the swimming pool

– boat rides into the sea

– sighting of the whales between July and September and boat trips to watch the dolphins or even swim with them

– water sports are also in plenty. Go scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing, it is all there.

You can reach Pemba the honeymoon island either by scheduled or charter flights or by private speedboat or by ferry service from Tanzania. But there is no access by road! Truly a different way to honeymoon.

Are you planning on taking a vacation or attending a business meeting in another area of the world? If so, you will need to find an airport that offers international flights. These airports are commonly referred to as international airports. If you live in or around the Atlanta, Georgia area, there is a good chance that you will be turning to the Atlanta International Airport for assistance.

The Atlanta International Airport, also commonly referred to as the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is conveniently located in Atlanta, Georgia. Its convenient location means that it is the travel choice of millions of Americans, many of which are traveling out of the country. Aside from its location, another one of the many reasons why the Atlanta International Airport is so favourite is because of the number of commercial airlines it houses. There are currently twenty-six airlines that offer incoming and outgoing fights through this favourite airport, many of which are international flights.

If we have been meddlesome in regulating an Atlanta General Airport, to get to your subsequent destination, we have been suggested to take a time to formularize yourself with an airport. This is generally critical if we have never been to a Hartsfield-Jackson General Airfield before. A distance of an airfield can have it confusing, generally for first-time travellers. For which reason, we have been suggested to formularize yourself with an airfield blueprint prior to leaving. It is not usually critical to inspect all of airfield terminals, though how we can get to any depot as well.

In addition to examining the layout of the airport, you also want to familiarize yourself with the practices of the airport, namely the security screening process. Since the Atlanta International Airport is known as a large and highly used airport, you will find that the screening process takes time. That is why it is advised that you arrive early for your flight. Although it is still advised that you arrive in advance, the Atlanta International Airport offers a service that is offered by few. That service involves letting you know, in advance, what the wait times are for most security checkpoints. You can easily see this information on the bottom right-hand corner of the airport’s main webpage.

As with many alternative vital general airports, we will find which a Hartsfield-Jackson General Airfield has a vast series of in-house establishments. Since a airfield terminals during a Atlanta General Airfield have been not all connected, we might find it difficult, or even possible, to transport to a sure depot from another, only for food. Which is since it is advised, generally when watchful for a general flight, which we make use of an establishments as good as comforts which can be found in or around your boarding area.

In further to normal establishments, such as restaurants as good as sell stores, we will find which a Hartsfield-Jackson General Airfield additionally offers a far-reaching operation of services for travellers. A single of those services is directed towards areas for smokers. If we have been a smoker, we will find which we can fume in smoking rooms, which have been located in all airfield depot areas. There have been additionally dual banking sell locations, as good as an onsite chapel. Essentially, this equates to which we whatever we wish or need during an Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson General Airport; we should be means to find it.

The coastal reefs of the Caribbean isles provide a large offering of gorgeous plant life and amazing wildlife allowing for a multitude of diving opportunities. Diving spots and locations that would take a lifetime to explore are featured on each and every island. Any diver will be exposed to a variety of wonders and challenges by the rewarding pastime that is Caribbean diving. On the list of countries that are available to visit, your top two choices should include Curacao and Bonaire.

Looking where to travel in a land of contrast and diversity, excitement and adventure? Tanzania could be just the answer, and it will not disappoint you.

The country is well linked and easily accessible by international flight networks from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and neighboring African countries– Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

Mount Kilimanjaro

Get a chance to see or even climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. With its snow-capped peaks the scenery around about here is as spectacular as the climb is challenging.

Wildlife and Game Parks

The annual wildebeest migration sets off from the Serengeti Game reserve as it heads to the Maasai Mara in Kenya.

Game viewing will also be in Ngorongoro Reserve as you enjoy the scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater, the Tarangire National Park, and to the south the smaller and most unique Ruaha National Park and Selous Game Reserve.

Tanzania’s coast

The country’s coast offers some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Zanzibar, Pemba and the archipelago is an experience in water sports, and even swimming alongside the dolphins!

The Mafia Island Marine Park South of Zanzibar gives an unforgettable experience in scuba diving and snorkeling and is a haven of peace under the palm trees in the ocean breeze.

Visit also Zanzibar’s Stone City and sample the rich blend of the historic with the modern as its unique architecture shows.

Travel options are unlimited and the memories will linger a lifetime. That is precisely why Tanzania is one of the great reasons why visitors come to see and experience Africa.

by Chris Linch

If you are going to go to Las Vegas make sure you know what you need to do when you arrive. This is a very busy airport with many flights all day and night. You want to make the arragements you need to get to your hotel ahead of time. I also suggest that you only carry on luggage. If you have to take a cab, you need to know how to save money, same with renting a car.

When you are booking your flight to go to Las Vegas it is advisable to go ahead and book airport transportation. I don’t know of any hotels in Las Vegas that offer an airport shuttle. You can get a privately owned shuttle for less than $15 per person round trip. You will need to make these arrangements before you leave. This is the best way to get from the airport in Las Vegas to the property you have booked. You can also catch a cab or take a bus, but they are less convenient.

I tell everyone that asks to pack as light as possible. You should only take a carry on. During peak times it can literally take ages to get your luggage if you check bags. You will also pay the airline for any checked baggage. If you just carry it on with you, not only do you save money, you save a lot of time.

If you don’t listen to me and do take a cab then you need to choose between time and money. You can have your cab driver not take the tunnel, which will save money but take extra time, especially if the streets are busy. You can also have them take the tunnel which is much faster but will cost extra. Your decision weighs on time versus money.

If your insist on renting a car while you are there, then I would suggest Fox Rent-A-Cars. They are much cheaper because they are not in the airport, you have to take a shuttle to get there. They will save you money, but not time. I don’t rent cars out there though, I use Pete and Charlie or I take a cab from place to place. There is also the mono rail and the busses. Then you have no worries when it comes to parking and traffic.

When ever you are landing in Vegas make sure you have a plan how you are getting from the airport to your hotel. Planning in advance can save you some money. The best way is to arrange for a shuttle and don’t check bags, this will save time and money.

If you are undecided about your next vacation destinations, this list may help you. These are the top 5 vacation destinations in the world. I would say these places are a must see.

Number 1 – Honolulu Hawaii is the most visited and booked travel destination. This is the place where the weather is always fantastic. If you see bad weather coming, you can just watch it pass over, it never lasts.

Number 2 ” Canary Islands Gran Canaria a top travel destination because it is beautiful both in scenery and in weather. The temperature is about the same year round, and the beaches are covered with beautiful sand.

Number 3 ” Cancun Mexico is a destination that is family friendly as well as college age to old can enjoy it. They have a ton of beautiful hotels. The destination does have something for everyone. They have amazing nightly parties everywhere in the city and they also have peaceful beaches. You will also normally find the weather to be warm.

Number 4 ” Las Vegas is the place to go to see incredible hotels, do some gambling, eat good food and have a fun time! They are known for parties, gambling and famous shows.

Number 5 ” Montego Bay in Jamaica is last on my list, but still a place you have to see. There is beautiful scenery, wonderful people and excellent food. The beaches have soft white sand and the waters are blue and crystal clear. Enjoy some snorkeling or diving. It is a destination for romance, but it is great for just a vacation too!

See the wildlife in its unspoiled habitats in the vast game sanctuaries some of which are still so wild and pristine. Game includes lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and the whole range of African wild animals.

The Serengeti is world famous for its unique eco-system, for the great Serengeti-Maasai Mara wildebeest migration among other attractions. It is also the world’s most famous game reserve with a research center for ecological conservation.

The Mahale Game Park is on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Here you will find the world’s largest concentration of chimpanzees.

On the Tanzanian coast are Zanzibar Island and the other islands, rich in historic Arab- Swahili culture. The Stone City of Zanzibar is a must see.

Tanzania southern tourist circuit includes Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa National Park. Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest reserves in Africa and remains untarnished by volume of visitors and affords visitors low-impact exclusivity, unlike the usual tourist haunts of the Northern Tanzania like the Serengeti ecosystem. It was named after Sir Frederick Selous, a famous British big game hunter and early conservationist, who died in this territory in 1917.

The seleous game reserve is served by rivers Rufiji, Ruaha and Kiliombero. This reserve supports a big population of the big five plus wildebeest, zebra, bush buck. The vegetation comprises of dense of miombo and Mopane thickets, expansive plains and a large selection of trees with thick evergreen bush along the riverine areas.

The Selous game reserve has at its disposal open four wheel drive vehicles or one could also choose to have the bush experience the old fashioned way by camping, hiking or foot safaris.

Visitors who opt to indulge in foot safaris or game walks within the reserve are accompanied by an armed park ranger. This is probably the most indigenous way to reconnect with Mother Nature. There are magnificent sight to see like the rolling grass plains, wetlands, swamps and dense forests.

The Rufigi River Delta is a striking feature of the game reserve. It connects the Great Ruaha River with the Rufigi River and not far from the park boundaries empties out into the Indian Ocean along the Tanzanian Coast. The Rufigi River is the largest water catchment locations in the region, and as such, is home to a plethora of varied water and bird life. You can take a boat safari where you will explore the different channels and lakes of the Rufiji River System. The water is usually full of hundreds of hippos as well as groups of crocodiles that laze in the sun on the sandbanks in the river. The river also teems with large variety of water birds like herons, storks, ducks and stilts.

Scheduled flights operate every day from Arusha, Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar with a transfer at Mtemere airstrip. Flights from Dar es Salaam take 45 minutes. Distance from Dar es Salaam is 250 km, via Kibiti and 250km from Morogoro via Uluguru Mountain.

For visitors seeking accommodation they can find it at the Rufiji River Camp. It is well equipped with 20 private tents and is ideally located on the banks of Rufiji River. Each tend has a private verandah that has a commanding view of the river plus a bathroom. The bar & restaurant is the epicenter of the camp. The camp sports a large swimming poll with sun loungers and a library.

A visit to Selous Game Reserve offers visitors the opportunity to visit the nearby Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa National Park, and the three locations make a varied and pleasant safari circuit.

The Mikumi National park is acclaimed for its diversified animal population that comprises of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, antelopes. As it is the norm with every food chain predators are present like the jackal, wild hunting dogs, and leopards and last but not least we have the king of the jungle the lion.

Vuma Hills Tented Camp offers luxury accommodation in Mikumi National Park The restaurant/bar area is very pleasant having good views of the plain and provides an ideal place to relax and eat. As with all the tented camps the menu is limited, but the food is good. There is a small, well maintained swimming pool, overlooked by the restaurant.

The Vuma tented camp is a 2 hour journey from THE National mountain park of Udzungwa which offers the ideal choice for travelers to go hiking or walking. Its is a haven of choice with bird watchers and boasts to having over 400 bird species.

For those who want an off beaten track safari, Tanzanias southern circuit is worth considering.

You know ten years ago you would have never heard this complaint. “The hotel is horrible, the staff was so rude when I asked the hotel why their internet was down for four hours, which is the reason I stayed here.” I guess I just can’t believe this is the sole reason someone would book a hotel.

I guess I jsut feel like there are many other things that you can do at a hotel besides surf the web. I like to go to hotel bars, meet new people, chat it up. I usually could care less about the internet in a hotel, and I am a guru. I like to find hotels that are close to things to do, or have a spa, or are on the beach. I really could care less about spending my time on the internet.

We just received a review on my site that rated a hotel 1 out of 5 points because their internet was down. The hotel was a 4 star property. Can you seriously say that the hotel had that bad of service simply because the internet was down. Here is the funny thing. The good points about it were good food, great prices and a large room. Also good parking and the security system is great. The bad points the internet was down.

I just can’t believe that it would be an eighty percent deduction for the internet being down. I understand that people on business trips need the internet, so I am not referring to them. What I don’t understand is this guy was staying there on his way to port off on a cruise. Look out Carnival, you will get a complaint because there is no internet in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Hide the comment cards. I can’t believe this guy can’t give up the internet for one night and enjoy the beautiful Cocoa beach.

To get to the point, I can’t believe people today, the internet, and travel. These people go miles away from their home and rate the hotel bad because there is a brief internet outage. I am just the opposite. Take the internet out of the hotel, then I don’t even risk wasting my time on it. I guess I am no longer the majority.

Travel visas can be sourced at the airport by visitors arriving from Europe, America and Asia. The visa is obtained at a fee whether on arrival or beforehand. Commonwealth country citizens except for those with exceptions do not require visas to enter Kenya. It is advisable to confirm about the travel visas from the Kenyan embassy, consulate or high commissioner in your country.

Its is recommended that all travelers to Kenya and neighboring countries ensure validity of their visa, at least 6 months beyond protracted end of their visit and that their passports have plenty of blank pages to accommodate the immigration stamps. This info can be sourced by travelers from the Embassy of Kenya in the various countries.

Yellow fever vaccination is recommended for travelers to Kenya. Vaccination should be given 10 days before travel. Evidence of the yellow fever immunization may be requested on your arrival at the airport. Apart from Yellow fever, it is prudent to be up-to-date with routine inoculations such as, measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus (DPT) vaccine, polio virus vaccine.

Those who will travel to the bush it is advised to make good the use of treated nets which protect against mosquitoes and a host of other insects. A prescription of antimalarial drugs are a must have for the traveler. It should be noted that chloroquine is not considered to be an efficient malaria drug and should not be taken as a preventive measure for those visiting this region.

A few countries have circulated travel advisories to their citizens traveling to Kenya. Such travel advisories are categorized as ‘park at your own risk’ notices usually found in public venues, the decision to visit is solely the visitor’s. Kenya went through some political hitches due to the disputed December 2007 elections that might have created some feeling of insecurity though it’s gratifying to note that things are calm and some of those travel advisories have since been rescinded. Even during that difficult period all tourist sites and hotels remained safe and secure free from any incidences.

Parks, reserves, hotels, lodges and any location concerning tourists has high levels of security maintained at all times. Visitors have every reason to feel safe and secure. The Kenyan border with Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia is somewhat risky but this is not a major concern since none of the tourist sites are close to this region.

In Kenya, one drives on the left side of the road, which can be very disorienting to those not accustomed to it also, vehicle travel outside major cities at night should be avoided due to the poor road and street light conditions, during the rainy season, some unpaved roads are impassable even with four-wheel drive vehicles. But, with good driving skills, and common sense you’ll get through. Traffic jams are common especially in the morning and evenings.

A host of establishments accept credit cards as a form of payment but those which don’t can also be paid in cash which can be withdrawn from an elaborate network of ATM’s all around the country. They are located in a safe and well lit environment.

As your journey continues keep your friends and family back home and friends informed of the progress your making. Mobile phone companies are reliable enough, though in locations like camps and lodges there may be a weak or no signal. There are cyber cafes in all of the major towns, some public venues offer WiFi hotspots. To those who love blogging do not forget to include your world of loved ones in your journey by uploading exciting pictures or videos of your travels.

Destin, Florida sits along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico on the Florida Panhandle and is fast becoming one of the most popular vacation destinations in the area. While the Gulf is a beautiful body of water in itself, Destin is particularly special since it is a part of one of the most gorgeous stretches of waterfront land, termed the Emerald Coast. This prime location is beginning to draw visitors en masse and is the ideal place for your next sun and sand adventure.

The most delightful portion of the Sunshine State, in many people’s eyes, is what’s known as the Emerald Shore. This stretch of white sand and jewel-toned water reaches out across the panhandle and includes a number of prime vacation destinations. One of the shining stars is Destin, a place that evokes dreamy days spent lounging on the beach and moonlit nights perfect for walking along the shore. A few days in Destin will cure any ailment and recharge the most fatigued battery, so consider it when you find yourself in need of a break.

How many times have you felt like taking a rest while your children wanted to take a swim in the water or build sand castles? How many times would you have liked to cook up a nice meal, without having to remove yourself from the beach where the rest of your family is enjoying the sun? How many times have you felt like you had to pack the whole house for 4-5 hours on the beach, making you feel like a beast of burden carrying things to-and-fro? Well, this is what Destin vacation rentals will offer you – places which have all the answers.

You will find Destin vacation rentals offering you a place to stay out of the sun if you want to, a place where you can grill hamburgers while the kids frolic in the sea water, a place where you can take your shower and de-sand yourself before you reach your home. All this, without removing yourself from the beach for a second. It is like having full value for your money plus a bonus!

Destin vacation rentals have many perks. Well-equipped kitchens fit for frying eggs in the morning or just keeping snacks on hand, big closets that will keep your Hawaiian print shirts nice and wrinkle-free, a game room that will promote family togetherness, and even a whirlpool tub that will ease your muscles and ensure a good night’s sleep will all be part of your experience should you choose to settle into a home away from home. The panhandle is filled with options, and Destin is not only representative of all of them, but ripe for the picking.

A holiday brimming with snorkeling, swimming, sailing, fishing, and eating lots of fresh seafood as you gaze out across the Gulf of Mexico must be complemented with lodgings that will make things a little bit sweeter. It doesn’t take the salary of a king to nab a great property either, it just takes a bit of time.
