Tips For Choosing A Search Marketing Agency
Gone are the days of "We can get you lots of clicks" and promises to arrive in the first position of page one of the google natural listings within a few months. If you are talking to a search marketing agency who is romancing you with these antiquated approaches, stop talking to them immediately.
A search marketing agency should act like your online business partner. Their job is to translate your products or services so that the search engines see them favourably and your potential customers as well. With a good, creative search marketing agency you can make more money and create a positive online image. On the other hand if you are unlucky enough or just inexperienced and choose a bad agency, this can be both costly in financial terms as well as a waste of time and potentially damaging to your business image.
A good national or international search marketing agency should discuss more than clicks and promised positions. An especially good agency may even appear to be a bit cheeky regarding your business model. This is actually a very good sign. They should be insistent on ensuring that every aspect of the process is in place, including the best landing pages, before you invest your money into online search campaigns.
Some good initial signs to look for in a search marketing agency:
1. An agency who makes you think about your unique selling point. This is a good indication as each online business needs to be aware of their own unique selling point before investing money and time into online search marketing campaigns.
2. An agency who constructively criticises your website and landing pages. Many business owners are so involved in their business that they do not see their website as a potential customer does. An agency who evaluates this with you is more often than not promising to be a good search marketing agency.
3. Someone who spends time discussing your potential long-tail keywords. Typically a business owner will be very keen to have his campaign optimised for his core competitive keywords. If an agency educates you and makes your realise that it is often your long-tail keywords which will make you more money and cost you less. Long-tail keywords are the more specific search term used around the core competitive keywords. These indicate that the searcher is likely to be closer to the buying stage and are less competitive than their relations.
4. An agency who does not feel the need to lock you into a long contract. It makes no sense whatsoever to get locked into long contracts which agencies that have not proved themselves to you over time. If an agency is talented in their work they should not need to pressure you into these type of contracts.
5. An agency who explains things to you in layman's language. Steer clear of agencies who try to ambush you with jargon. An agency who wishes to work with you well and for the long term should take the time to explain all you need to know if layman's language.
6. An agency who discusses your affordable and ideal cost per conversion/application. A business orientated agency should appreciate that you have targets which need to be met, and they will discuss with you what these are and how they can be achieved.

iPod Battery Indicator?
I have a normal iPod with 80gb memory.
When I am searching through my list of albums and in the top right corner of the iPod the battery would be 3/4 full(shown by the green juice in the battery).
When I select a particular album and then lock the iPod as I will be moving with it, a battery will appear on the main screen of the iPod after a few minutes but that battery is showing that my iPod is only 1/4 full.
What is the story with this?
First recharge it to a full charge, then reset the ipod. If that fails, you may want to contact apple or just restore the ipod....
