Is it safe to use Nintendo DS USG 001 adapter in UK?
I live in NY but studying abroad in London for now and I had brought my Nintendo DS with me. I was wondering if I could plug directly this adaptor into the wall outlet to use since in the back of it says input voltage: AC 100V and AC 120 V?

No, the U.K. DS/DS Lite adapters work on dual voltage 100v-120v and 220v-240v (which is what AC the U.K. uses). U.S. adapters do not work on the higher U.K. voltages.
Your best bet is to either buy a U.K. adapter once you arrive in the U.K. (most GAME shops sell them or look on eBay) or buy a USB charger for your DS or DS Lite (which are much more useful and can also be found on eBay).
If your place of residence has a shaver power point in the bathroom (you do not usually find mains power points in U.K. bathrooms for safety reasons) your U.S. shaver should plug into the shaver point's 110v setting and work without any problems.
