Will Case Logic case DCB-36 fit D40?

I looked at their chart. It showed that it fit D50 and D80, but not D40. I thought it was smaller that either of those dslrs.

Note: I would need it to fit the kit lens too.

Is not that case actually designed for camcorders? At any rate, sure it will work with the D40 if it will work with the D80, and likely with the kit lens too. The question is just how well it works? I'm sure the camera will go in there, but the design and dividers of the bag may not really securely hold the camera in place... it will just be a camera in a bag. Personally, I do not buy bags except in person, preferably when you have your equipment with you. I have found it next to impossible to really judge just how well a bag will work with my equipment from an online photo. You need the bag IN HAND. I suggest you go to a camera store or even your local Wally World or such place and pick a bag personally.
