do i have a caffeine/coffee allergy /intollerence?

i cant drink coffee and havent for 12 years now as i started feeling unwell after drinking it and each time i had it the symptoms got worse, feeling sick and feeling faint and also an odd feeling in my throat and feeling lethargic were the last symptoms i got which lasted until the next day . oddly i can eat alot of milk choc tho it does keep me awake and can drink coke which again keeps me awake & can also give me the shakes . dark choc gives me the shakes even a small amount and now tea gives me the shakes. i drink de caf coffee & de caf coke but cant get de caf coke if i go out. i went docs today for an allergy test for dogs & penecillin so decided to ask him about it but he said if it was an allergy i would get the reaction with everything with caffeine in ,
any ideas

It could be a reaction to the tannins in the cofffee.
